Special Programs

The Early Literacy and Leadership program is a free, interactive parent and child program offered to Spanish families with children age five and under not currently enrolled in kindergarten. IT seeks to promote parent education and involvement early in a child’s life by providing parents with an opportunity to help their children develop essential early literacy skills at home and gain confidence in their own ability to become active partners in their children’s education.

The HIPPY Program is a free program for parents of preschoolers. Hippy partners with parents to prepare their children for success in school. With HIPPY, parents build on their capacity to be their child’s first teacher and strengthen the parent-child relationship.
