Students in kindergarten discover that money looks different all over the world. They explored different currencies from Ghana, Costa Rica, Honduras, Korea, Iraq, Pakistan, Columbia just to name a few!

Groveton is excited to participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP). This is a federally assisted program providing free fresh fruits and vegetables to children at elementary schools during the school day.

Our second-grade classes have been observing the life cycle of the butterfly. They have spent several weeks watching the metamorphosis of their classroom butterflies over time. This week they finished up their unit of study by releasing their butterflies.
